Ashley Stubbs Flooring is a family-run flooring specialist based in Coventry. Driven by a passion for quality and craftsmanship, we established our business after seeing a lack of standard care and expertise offered by large corporate flooring retailers.

Meet Our Team
Ashley - Co-Founder & Lead Flooring Specialist
Growing up with a dad who worked as a self-employed carpet fitter, Ash was exposed to the world of flooring—and the realities of running a business—from a young age. After leaving school, he spent a short time in the hospitality industry, which instilled in him a strong work ethic, resilience, and a dedication to customer service. However, he quickly realised that flooring was his true passion and the career he wanted to dedicate his life to.
Eager to master the trade, Ash worked in a busy local flooring shop while gaining hands-on experience as a labourer for seasoned fitters. He installed a wide range of products, including carpets, laminate, vinyl (lino), and artificial grass. Driven by ambition, he spent years refining his craft and mastering advanced techniques, including subfloor preparation, damp-proofing, Luxury Vinyl Tiles (LVT), and commercial safety flooring for wet rooms and specialist facilities.
Confident in his expertise and ready for a new challenge, Ash launched Ashley Stubbs Flooring, choosing to specialise in the materials he knew offered the highest durability and quality: LVT, laminate, and safety flooring.
Following the birth of his daughter, River-Meadow, in November 2025, fatherhood has sparked an even deeper drive. Today, Ash is more motivated than ever to push standards higher and build a business his daughter will grow up to be proud of.
Abi — Co-Founder & Head of Operations
Abi brings years of experience from the property and recruitment industries, where she developed a passion for helping people and delivering attentive, 5-star customer service. While she enjoyed her previous roles, she always felt a piece was missing. Raised by self-employed parents who ran a small engineering factory, Abi fell in love with the idea of owning her own business from a young age—doing things the right way, staying creative, and setting high standards.
Her life took a wonderful turn with the arrival of her daughter, River-Meadow, in November 2025. Driven to build a bright future and support her fiancé, Ash, Abi joined Ashley Stubbs Flooring to bring her expertise to a new industry and reignite her creative spark.
Abi manages our marketing, social media, accounts, and day-to-day operations. Passionate about problem-solving and helping clients, she is your main point of contact from your initial quote enquiry all the way through to fitting and aftercare. Continuous learning is at the heart of what she does, and she is excited to keep growing Ashley Stubbs Flooring every day.
Outside of work, Abi and Ash love camping trips with River-Meadow and their greyhound-cross, Billy, as well as exploring local pubs and restaurants across Coventry.
